Comment by Florin Isvoranu on November 11, 2011 at 20:15 Hi Brouillard,
sorry if this wasn't very clear from the beginning. Each participants has to bring his own laptop/notebook. It is not mandatory to use Rhino for modelling, but Rhino is required to run EvoluteTools which will be used to generate the developable strips. Rhino can import almost any known CAD file out there, so if any participants feels more comfortable designing with some other software - then we can import the design in Rhino and work with it further.
Look forward to meet everybody on Monday :-)
Cheers,
Florin

Comment by Brouillard on November 11, 2011 at 19:52 Florin,
can you tell me where will begin the work shop exactly ?
where we must go on monday morning.
in your last link the Two link where the same ...
so we need a laptop ?
Comment by Florin Isvoranu on November 11, 2011 at 10:54 Workshop hardware and software requirements:
Laptop running Windows XP or newer, able to run Rhino4 with SR9, dedicated graphics card preferable. Latest trial version of Rhino4 works too, or Rhino5@32bits, we recommend Rhino4 though.
This Microsoft update is required in order to run the latest build of EvoluteTools for Rhino:

See you soon !
Comment by Florin Isvoranu on November 8, 2011 at 13:42 Thanks Gregory,
it would be great to interact with the cantilever team. We have no idea about what the final design will be like, but integration and interaction with the other teams will produce a better product.
Giorgos - this is a pretty unique event, we hope you can make it.
